One killed in Limerick car accident

A man in his twenties has been killed in a road accident in Co Limerick.

Four others are being treated in the Mid-Western Regional Hospital after the crash, which happened six miles outside the city on the Dublin road.

Two cars were involved in a head-on collision at Daly's Cross.

The dead man was killed at the scene, and one of the injured is in a critical condition in hospital.

The other two victims are said to be serious but stable.
