An initiative has been launched which will give schools here the chance to communicate with their European counterparts via the internet.

An initiative has been launched which will give schools here the chance to communicate with their European counterparts via the internet.

The Eschola Programme will twin all participating schools on line and allow students from different countries to learn about each other.

Munster MEP Brian Crowley says the scheme will teach children important new skills.
