Local electorate feel sympathy for Beverly Cooper-Flynn

The Chairman of the Co Mayo branch of Fianna Fail says there is sympathy among the electorate for Beverly Cooper-Flynn.

The Mayo TD earlier announced her resignation from the Public Accounts Committee after losing her libel action against RTE last week. Ms Cooper-Flynn. said she felt it appropriate to tender her resignation to the committee.
