Ahern cuts short Stockholm stay to chair disease task force

The Taoiseach is to return early from an EU summit in Stockholm today to chair an emergency session of the specially-appointed task force on foot-and-mouth.

The meeting is to discuss how to co-ordinate further efforts aimed at preventing the spread of the disease.
