One of three people being questioned by detectives investigating the disappearance of a man in Northern Ireland last year was today charged with murder.

The 34-year-old man from Enniskillen, Co Fermanagh has also been accused of attempting to pervert the course of justice by police hunting for Gerald McGinley, who went missing in August.

Mr McGinley, 34, from Ballinamallard, Co Fermanagh, was last seen leaving a hotel after a night out with his wife.

The man charged with his murder is expected to appear at a special court tonight in Omagh, Co Tyrone.

Another man and a woman are still being questioned by officers investigating the case.
