All of North's foot-and-mouth sheep batch accounted for
The livestock haulier who delivered sheep to the Co Armagh farm where the North's only outbreak of foot-and-mouth disease occurred has said all the animals are now accounted for.
The haulier, from Banbridge, Co Down, said there were 270 sheep on his lorry, fewer than the 291 shown on the movement of animals permit.
He said he told the authorities all he knows about the load and that all the animals were unloaded at the farm in Meigh.
