Haulier gets 7-and-a-half years for transporting drugs

A haulier who abandoned a £2.5m consignment of cannabis from Holland, at a warehouse here, is being jailed for 7-and-a-half years.

Gardai claimed Robert Brown agreed with a gang to transport the drugs after his own haulage business ran into financial difficulty.
