UN human rights funding inadequate: Robinson

Former Irish President Mary Robinson has said she is stepping down from her UN post because her agency did not receive adequate funding.

Mrs Robinson said her office's $20m (£16m) annual budget is not enough to cover its increasing workload investigating human rights abuses worldwide.
