Charles Haughey: Still critical

There has been no change in the condition of former Taoiseach Charles Haughey, who was this morning rushed to hospital having suffered a heart attack.

He is in a critical but stable condition.

A statement is expected this evening from management at Dublin's Beaumont hospital, where staff are monitoring Mr Haughey's condition.

Members of the Haughey family have gathered at his bedside.
