North-South cooperation for anti-racism week
Anti-racism bodies on both sides of the border are to team up this week to launch European Week against Racism.
The National Consultative Committee on Racism and Interculturalism and the Equality Commission for Northern Ireland will hold a series of initiatives targeted at schools and youth groups.
Activity packs and videos will be distributed, while internships will also be offered for journalists from ethnic minority backgrounds.
The week coincides with the UN Day against Racism, which is held on the anniversary of the 1960 Sharpeville massacre in South Africa.
