Ireland to grant £8.49m to the world's poorest countries

The Government has announced a multi-million pound aid package for 21 of the world's poorest and crisis-stricken countries.

The humanitarian and rehabilitation assistance was confirmed in Boston today by junior foreign minister Liz O'Donnell.
