Ahern offers hope for second U2 gig

The Taoiseach has thrown a possible lifeline to efforts to stage a second U2 concert in Ireland this summer.

Following a cabinet meeting this morning, Bertie Ahern confirmed that a new outdoor licensing system is to be introduced as a matter of urgency.
