Stone throwers shot at by soldiers, Bloody Sunday inquiry told

A witness has told the Bloody Sunday inquiry that soldiers started shooting at stone throwers immediately after leaping out of their vehicles in Derry's Bogside.

Neil McLaughlin said he was with about 20 others who ran at 5 armoured vehicles and stoned them after they parked in a group at Rossville Flats.
