Youth released without charge

Gardai have released without charge a youth who was being questioned in connection with a stabbing incident in Limerick City overnight.

A file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.

A man was stabbed in the Collins Avenue area of the city and is in a stable condition at St John's hospital.
