Youth arrested in Limerick

A youth has been arrested following a stabbing incident in Limerick City overnight.

The 16-year-old male is being questioned under Section Four of the Criminal Justice Act at Roxboro garda station.

A man was stabbed during the incident in the Collins Avenue area of Limerick.

He is in a stable condition at St John's Hospital.
