Man stabbed in Limerick

A man is recovering in hospital following a stabbing in Limerick city last night.

The man was attacked in the Collins Avenue area after midnight.

Gardai from the Roxboro station were called to the scene and the victim was taken to the hospital.

His injuries are not considered life-threatening.

Gardai have made no arrests as of yet.
