Dail continues to debate 'national emergency'

During the second day of the Dáil debate concerning the foot and mouth disease, the Government has come under more pressure from opposition parties for moving too slowly to prevent the disease entering the country.

Speaking at the debate the Taoiseach has called the current situation a national emergency.
