Life getting back to normal after blizzards

Despite a major overnight thaw, problems are still being experienced on the east and north coasts following Monday night's massive snowfall and yesterday's blizzards.

14,000 ESB customers are still without power in Counties Dublin, Louth and Wicklow.

Dublin Airport has reopened, with bus and train services getting back to normal.

However, the Arklow-Greystones line will not reopen until lunchtime, which will affect the Rosslare-Dublin service.

Meanwhile, traffic on the Naas Road inbound to Dublin has been restricted due to ice.

Many parts of the national route are down to one lane.
