Central Bank prevents loans for house deposits

The Consumers Association of Ireland has endorsed the move taken by the Central Bank to prevent financial institutions issuing loans for house deposits.

The banking institutions have until March 30th to comply with new directives to ensure that borrowers have sufficient earning funds for loans and mortgages.
