Man found guilty in niece rape case

A 41-year-old Dublin man has been found guilty at the Central Criminal Court of raping and sexually assaulting his now 30-year-old niece.

The man, from a southwestern suburb of the city, was convicted on ten charges of rape and indecent assault on dates between 1973 and 1979, in the first sex case to be heard on a Sunday.
