Survey reveals attitudes to alcohol

Most Irish people believe that alcohol is a major cause of violence and marital breakdown, according to a poll published today.

The findings also show that people believe youngsters are able to purchase drink too easily and that almost a third of all people have an alcoholic drink at least once a week.
