Deputy Northern First Minister Seamus Mallon has warned that the peace process is "bleeding away" and has given the pro-Agreement parties a week to resolve the current impasse.

"Anybody would recognise that we have now come to a stage there is nothing new to be said about any of these issues. There are no new bright ideas," he said.
