Another EU warning for Ireland

The European Union has given Ireland a second formal warning for failing to comply with new environmental laws.

The EU is angry with the Irish Government for failing to act on promises to reduce environmental damage caused by insecticides, and is warning that Ireland may be brought before the European Court of Justice.
