Taoiseach accepts O'Keeffe resignation

The Taoiseach said he accepted the resignation of Junior Agriculture Minister Ned O'Keeffe with regret.

In a statement, Bertie Ahern said the Minister had served the people of Ireland with diligence and enthusiasm and had used his vast experience and knowledge of the agriculture sector well in his ministerial role.
