Employees unhappy with bosses

One third of workers say that their bosses are poor managers and are inexperienced, according to a new survey on the attitudes of the Irish workforce towards their employers.

Over 400 staff were interviewed in the nationwide survey and the most common complaint was that bosses are poor managers.

Almost a quarter of those asked said that a bad employer was someone who did not appreciate their staff.

The survey, which was carried out by Eden Recruitment, also indicated that the relationship between an employee and their boss was an important factor in deciding whether or not to stay in a job.
