Dangerous driving accused before court

The man accused of dangerous driving which resulted in the death of a baby boy yesterday has appeared before court today.

At Kilcock District Court, Garda Sergeant Mark Hogan from Slane gave details of the arrest of Barry Graham, aged 35, of Primrose Gardens, Portrush, Co Antrim.

He is charged with dangerous driving at Slane Bridge yesterday.

The Court heard a file on the accident - which claimed the life of toddler David Garvey and left his family with serious injuries - will be completed and sent to the DPP.

The family lives in Slane village. Judge John Brophy adjourned the case until May 2nd at Navan District Court, and he released Graham on cash bail, totalling £3,150.
