Cowen to meet Sinn Fein re pipe bomb attacks

Minister for Foreign Affairs Brian Cowen is to meet Sinn Fein's Gerry Kelly later today to discuss escalating loyalist attacks in the North.

Mr Kelly said the Irish Government had a duty to protect its citizens in the North and will tell Minister Cowen today of the damage caused to ordinary families by the nightly attacks.
