Yates will not stand in next election

Fine Gael front bench TD Ivan Yates has confirmed that he will not be standing as a Dail candidate after the next general election.

The Wexford TD cited personal reasons as the key factor in his decision and the party's enterprise spokesman revealed he had been considering the move for some time.
