Committee to issue proposals on organs issue

The Taoiseach has told the Dail that the government is urgently preparing proposals to deal with the handling of human tissue.

Responding to a question in the Dail from Labour's health spokesperson Liz McManus, Bertie Ahern said the Minister for Health is to appoint a steering committee which will prepare a set of legislative recommendations as quickly as possible.
