Over 20,000 passengers are expected to be affected by grounded Aer Lingus flights today as 1,400 cabin crew take to the picket lines for 24 hours.

The staff, who are members of the union IMPACT, are unhappy at pay scales within the company which currently range from under £11,000 to just over £21,000 over 24 years.
