British Midland is confirming that it has been forced to cancel five of its flights today because of action by its ground handlers at Dublin Airport.

Meanwhile, Aer Lingus will start grounding its fleet late tonight ahead of tomorrow's 24-hhour stoppage, while the union involved, Impact, has confirmed it is planning three more days of action.
