£194m earmarked for non-national routes

An extra £194m is to go towards improving the country's non-national roads, the Minister for the Environment has announced.

Speaking in Carrickmacross, Co Monaghan, Noel Dempsey said the funding would be spent in the next three years in an attempt to improve road safety.
