London bomb arrests "not linked to republicans"

Scotland Yard has said it does not believe the five men arrested in London this morning after a find of bomb-making equipment are linked to dissident republicans.

The five were detained after anti-terrorist squad officers swooped on a house in Ealing, west London, just after 7.30am. Materials which police believe could be used to construct pipe bombs was confiscated in the raid.
