Ahern's tribute to ousted Bruton

The Taoiseach has paid tribute to John Bruton for his contribution to public life as leader of Fine Gael.

Bertie Ahern said Mr Bruton filled the office of Taoiseach with dignity and distinction, helping sustain the strong economic growth that has continued since 1993 and 1994 during his term.
