Reports on peace process 'overly optimistic'

The British Prime Minister's office in Downing Street has issued a statement saying some reports on progress in resolving the crisis in the peace process are overly optimistic.

Meanwhile, at Stormont today, the new Northern Secretary, John Reid, has been meeting the main political parties for the first time.
