A junior government minister has proposed the reinstatement of the five provinces of Ireland.
Eamon O'Cuiv said he believes it could encompass the greater Dublin area and include the counties of Fingal, Dun Laoghaire/Rathdown, Dublin City and South Co Dublin. Tradtionally, Meath was the province where Tara, seat of the High King, was located.
