Ahern and Blair to talk by phone

The Taoiseach and the British Prime Minister Tony Blair are scheduled to talk by telephone this afternoon to discuss the latest developments in the peace process.

Both are expected to confirm the cancellation of tomorrow's British-Irish council meeting at Dublin Castle.
