Abattoir owners warned about laws

Irish abattoir proprietors have been warned that they must fully comply with EU law or face not having their licences renewed.

The warning comes from the chief executive of the Food Safety Authority of Ireland, Dr Patrick Wall, who today unveiled the findings of an ongoing audit of compliance.
