Marine rescue continues off coast of Wicklow

A marine rescue operation is underway off the coast of Wicklow.

The coastguard has made its way to a small vessel, the "Ocean Wave", which raised the alarm after suffering engine problems.

A spokesperson for the coastguard has confirmed that the boat is now being towed ashore.

There are three crew on board the boat, which was approximately seven miles north of Wicklow Head when it got into difficulties.
