FG call for extra lessons for beleaguered students

Fine Gael has called for students to be offered extra classes to make up for school days lost before Christmas because of the ASTI pay row.

Party spokesman Alan Shatter said the impact of lost days on students facing State exams this year appears to have been forgotten.
