Junior Cert in doubt amid teachers pay row

The Government is reportedly considering the scrapping of this year’s Junior Certificate exams unless there is a breakthrough in the teacher’s pay row.

Meanwhile, it is understood that the union at the centre of the row, the ASTI, is forming links with the other second-level union, the TUI.
