AA warns on rip-off filling stations
The Automobile Association has warned motorists not to buy petrol at filling stations that charge more than 71p per litre. The call comes after the cost of crude oil dropped by 30 per cent on the world market in the last few weeks.
AA spokesman Conor Faughnan said that while individual service stations were within their rights to continue selling expensive fuel, there was no reason why consumers should buy it.
