Two arrested over Limerick shooting
Two men have been arrested in connection with last night’s shooting in Limerick. A man and a teenage girl were shot in the O’Malley Park area of the city. Two men approached their house with a shotgun and one entered, hitting the man and the girl with pellet bullets to the head and body.
The injured man, who is in his 20s, is described as being in a stable condition in Limerick Regional Hospital. The girl, aged 14, was released last night and is travelling to Cork to have bullets removed from her head and hand. Her condition is not believed to be serious. The two men were arrested shortly before 9.00am this morning.
