STORM EMMA: The worst of the blizzard conditions have now passed, but heavy drifts of snow continue to leave conditions across the country hazardous. The Status Red weather warning remains in place for Munster, Leinster and Galway until 6pm

IRELAND: Experienced civil defence volunteers have advised people to stay off the roads across West Cork.
