Sinéad Kane has entered the Guinness Book of Record for being the first visually- impaired runner to complete seven marathons, over seven days on seven continents.

The 34-year-old Youghal, Co Cork, native finished the World Marathon Challenge in Sydney on Sunday having started her voyage in Antarctica.
