‘Cabinet must spend to save young lives’ from suicide

Dr Niall Muldoon, a clinical psychologist and former national clinical director of the CARI children’s charity, addressed 3,000 secondary school students yesterday at the sixth Cycle Against Suicide Student Leaders’ Congress, held at the University of Limerick.
The two-day event, which heard that around 800 people die by suicide in Ireland every year, continues today when 3,000 more students will attend UL from schools all over the country.
