Businessman lured into shed and robbed at knifepoint

Limerick would be the last place one English visitor would return to if he ever came back to these shores, a judge said yesterday.

Judge Tom O’Donnell’s comments came at Limerick Circuit Court on hearing of a terrifying attack during which a visiting businessman was lured into a shed and robbed at knifepoint.

A youth aged 17 pleaded guilty to falsely imprisoning and robbing the victim of cash and other items.
