Suspended sentence for possession of child porn

Over 2,000 images and 100 child pornography movie files were found on the computer of a middle-aged man when his employers carried out a general audit .

Ian Morris, of The Spires, Carrignafoy, Cobh, Co Cork, received a two-year suspended jail term from Judge Seán Ó Donnabháin for possession of child pornography at his home on April 11, 2013.

Donal O’Sullivan, defending, said the matter had been put back for sentencing to enable the accused to continue addressing issues in relation to his behaviour.
