€20k after being locked into classroom
Barrister Lorna Lynch told the court that Kate Deegan was five on December 10, 2013, when the incident happened at Mourne Road National School, Mourne Rd, Drimnagh, Dublin.
Ms Lynch told the court the door had been locked, the windows were locked, and the lights switched off.
Through her mother Andrea Deegan, of Devoy Rd, Inchicore, Dublin, Kate sued the trustees and board of management of the school for negligence.
Ms Lynch said the defendant made a €20,000 settlement offer, and the judge approved it.
