That’s how rugby fan Jim Dillon described his sense of shock as he signed a book of condolence for Anthony Foley in Cork yesterday.

“I’ve travelled far and wide following Munster, and have many great memories of Anthony Foley from those years. That man owes us nothing,” said Mr Dillon, from Ballincollig, Co Cork.
